Description:
Child Youth and Family are seeking an outcome focused person to be the Youth Justice Practice Advisor based in Hamilton at our Regional Office. This leadership role will provide independent analysis, review and advice on professional Youth Justice practice to various Managers and leaders within the organisation. The successful applicant will be an integral part of the Management team.
The advisor will have knowledge of contemporary issues in Youth Justice service delivery, be able to champion change and have a clear vision of how Child, Youth and Family could achieve a reduction in re-offending rates. The successful candidate will:
- Influence and inspire people about our vision.
- Provide practical methods of achievement.
- Have a sound understanding of the Youth Justice system.
- Promote and demonstrate continuous improvement.
- Aspire to excellence.
- Have the ability to work under pressure, but retain a calm professional demeanour
