Social Work Supervisor

Description:

If you like a challenge, possess a strong Care and Protection background, have good management skills, a high level of verbal skills and enjoy working in a team dedicated to best practice, then this job is for you.

The role of a Supervisor is to manage and work alongside a team of Social Workers and other agents to protect children and/or to ensure care and security for children in the care or custody of the Service.

Otahuhu utilises ethnically based models of social work practice. Knowledge of Tikanga and Pacific cultures, including relevant language skills, will be viewed as an advantage.

Child, Youth and Family, a service line of the Ministry of Social Development (MSD), recognises and has a commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.
