Services Print Version

Child, Youth and Family staff manage a wide range of services to carry out our statutory and preventative social work practice. This includes working with families and whanau, community agencies and other professionals to:
  • protect children
  • manage young offenders
  • ensure that children in need are secure and cared for
  • help families maintain and strengthen their child-rearing role
  • facilitate the adoption process.

We also fund and support a wide range of community-based social services, with a focus on children, young people and families in need of support
