We are opening a new group home in Melville, Hamilton for young people aged 12-17 with complex needs and challenging behaviours. We are looking for a range of staff to manage this facility and work directly with young people and their families.

To be considered for any of the roles you will need to have:
- Passion for working with young people
- A legal entitlement to work in New Zealand and a good command of written and spoken English
- A current, full New Zealand drivers licence
Care Workers (Day & Evening Hours) - CYF3932
Care workers provide mentoring, support and care for young people in the home. They deliever a structured behaviour change programme and participate in a range of group and one-to-one activities with the young people. A variety of hours are available - examples below:
- 25 hours per week (Mon, Tues, Wed 7am - 10am / Sat & Sun 7am - 3.30pm)
- 40 hours per week (Sun - Thurs - 2.30pm - 11pm)
- 22 hours per week (Thurs & Fri 7am - 10am / Sat & Sun 7am - 3.30pm)
- 32 hours per week (Fri - Mon 2.30pm - 11pm)

Night Care Workers - CYF3933
Care workers are awake throughout this shift to respond to any issues or emergencies that arise during the night and are also responsible for some planning, administration and information recording tasks. They also provide care and supervision for young people in the mornings, this includes helping to prepare breakfast and ensuring young people are ready for their day's activities:
- 40 hours per week (Sun, Mon, Tues 10.30pm-8.30am)
- 30 hours per week (Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat 10.30pm -8.30am)

Senior Care worker - CYF3934
The senior care worker oversees the behaviour change programme in the home and manages administration and staff. The hours of work are 40 per week; Tues - Sat 2.30pm - 11pm.
Team Leader - CYF3935
The Team Leader's role is to lead, manage and support the staff in the Home, manage the budget, maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure the programme is run in accordance with policies and procedures. To be considered you will need to have strong leadership skills, be a great communicator and have experience in data and financial management. The hours of work are 40 per week; Mon & Fri 7am - 3.30pm / Tues, Wed, Thurs 9.30am - 6pm.
Night Assistant - CYF3936
The Night Assistant provides support to the night time care workers. The Night Assistant will be provided with a bed and may sleep with the expectation that they will wake and be available when needed. The hours of work are 10.30pm to 7.30am.
Family Engagement Worker (0.5) - CYF3937
The Family Engagement Worker works closely with the families of young people on the programme, supporting them to work alongside their children and ease their transition back into the community. To be considered for this role you will ideally have a tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, family therapy or other related fields and experience in providing parenting education. Hours to be negotiated.
