Description
We are opening two new group homes in the Auckland Region for young people aged 12-17years with complex needs and challenging behaviours. One home will be based in the Counties - Manukau area and the other home will be based in the Waitakere area.
We are looking for a range of staff to manage these facilities and work directly with young people and their families.

To be considered for any of the roles you will need to have:
- Passion for working with young people
- A legal entitlement to work in New Zealand and a good command of written and spoken English
- A current, full New Zealand driving license
Day / Evening and Night Care Workers (several roles available including relief) - CYF3920
Care workers provide mentoring, support and care for young people in the home. They deliver a structured behaviour change programme and participate in a range of group and one-to-one activities with the young people.
Senior Care Workers - CYF3921
The senior care worker oversees the behaviour change programme in the home and manages administration and staff.
Team Leaders - CYF3922
The Team Leader's role is to lead, manage and support the staff in the Home, manage the budget, maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure the programme is run in accordance with policies and procedures. To be considered you will need to have strong leadership skills, be a great communicator and have experience in data and financial management.
Night Assistants - CYF3923
The Night Assistant provides support to the night time care workers. The hours of work are 10.30pm to 7.30am. The Night Assistant will be provided with a bed and may sleep with the expectation that they will wake and be available when needed.
Family Engagement Workers - CYF3924
The Family Engagement Worker works closely with the families of young people on the programme, supporting them to work alongside their children and ease their transition back into the community To be considered for this role you will ideally have a tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, family therapy or other related fields and experience in providing parenting education.
