Residential Night Attendant, Korowai Manaaki Youth Justice Residence - Manurewa

Korowai Manaaki residence, based in Manurewa are seeking to fill a recent vacancy in our night shift team.  Hours of work for the permanent position is from 10:30pm to 7:00am, on a rotating shift.
 
Responsibilities include providing supervision of children and young people within a residential setting and to provide safe care and security for children and young people and property during night hours.

Duties include:

• Communicating clearly with other team members
• Maintaining professional records
• Maintaining a safe environment for children and young persons.
• Ensuring a safe working environment is maintained by identifying and managing risks

Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate:

• Good computer skills
• Good written and communication skills
• A clean and current full drivers license
• An awareness of security requirements
