Description:

Applications are invited for the above permanent, full time position from holders of a  Bachelor of Social Work qualification (Level 7 on the NZQA framework), or a Post Graduate qualification, with considerable experience in Care and Protection and Youth Justice.  Applicants without the Level 7 qualification, but with considerable current experience as a generic social worker, may also be considered.  Your application should address the job description and person specification.

Child, Youth and Family, a service line of the Ministry of Social Development (MSD), recognises and has a commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.  In recognition of this commitment appointees may be required to undertake a period of secondment to an iwi social service or a cultural social service.
