Description:

An exciting opportunity exists within Child, Youth and Family's Workforce Development, Learning and Development Team for a Trainer/Facilitator. This position will be based at our Child, Youth and Family office based in Otahuhu.

Our Learning and Development teams support the work of Child Youth & Family by providing effective, quality facilitation of training and developmental opportunities aimed at building the capability of our managers and staff. This includes the provision of learning opportunities for our front line social work staff. The Northern team currently provide services from Kaitaia to Taupo offices. You must be willing to travel regularly and be away overnight as necessary.

Preferred applicants are likely to be experienced in facilitation and/or skills assessment, and have a training qualification, and/or a qualification in social work or management.

You will also understand the wider social services environment, and have knowledge of Tikanga Maori and/or Pacific Island cultures. This is a permanent position, but we would consider a secondment opportunity for internal applicants.
