Applications are invited for 2 full time permanent Social Work Supervisor positions based in Onehunga and Panmure.

The role of the Supervisor is to manage and work alongside a team of social workers and other agents to protect children and/or to ensure care and security for children in the care or custody of the service.

These positions are responsible for the supervision of enthusiastic social workers and support staff who deliver social work services to the range of client groups in the area.  You will work, in conjunction with other supervisors, in an environment that is progressive, supportive and professional, with a focus on positive, client centred social work practice.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

• A level B or level 6 social work qualification on the NZQA framework
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• An ability to work cross culturally
• Knowledge and skills to work with Pacific Island families
• Good computer skills
• A current drivers licence

A qualification or study toward a qualification in Supervision is desirable.
