We're here to help, so call us anytime. Our trained social workers will listen to your worries about a child or young person and point you in the right direction - this might be referring your concerns onto our sites so, or putting you in touch with others who can help.
Concerns about a child or young person
If you think a child is in immediate danger – phone the Police on 111.
If you suspect child abuse or neglect, or are worried about a child or young person, you can call our freephone number 24 hours a day, any day of the year, and talk to one of our social workers. They will determine the urgency of the concern, whether we need to do anything further, or if the child or young person's needs could be better met by another agency. You can also send a notification to us by fax or email.
This number is also the best one to call if you are thinking about becoming a caregiver or if you seek information about adoptions.
